With 25 years of success, L.A. Hello and Goodbye: some exciting changes at L.A. Works

We have a bitter sweet change here at L.A. Works this month as we say goodbye to Gilbert Gonzales and hello to Becca Herrman. We want to thank Gil for the fabulous three plus years he dedicated to strengthening our organization. Happily, Gil will still be working with us, as he is going to be following his passion and working on a county-wide program managing spontaneous volunteers in the event of a disaster.
Rebecca Herrman will take over as Director of Programs for L.A. Works. Becca got her start in the service field as an Americorps member with HandsOn Bay Area, and most recently spent time managing the volunteer program at CoachArt, a nonprofit serving children with chronic and life-threatening illnesses. Becca will begin with L.A. Works on Monday, June 13th. Her email address will be becca@laworks.com.
